Konstantin Glukhovskyi was born in Ukraine in 1984, but he has been based in Riga, Latvia, since 2010.
He graduated as a banking and financial specialist, but he has always had a love for photography.
Konstantin is an amateur photographer, traveler and explorer whose hobby has taken him to some of our planet’s most remote and beautiful places such as Svalbard (Norway), Machu Picchu (Peru), Iguazu falls (Brazil/Argentina), Death Valley (USA) and many others.
Self-taught, he wanted to be a professional photographer since he bought his first camera at the age of 22. He bought his first DSLR camera in 2011 and gave way to his hobby – photography, especially nature photography, he has been passionate about since his early 20s. He continues to develop and improve his skills.
Konstantin is primarily a landscape photographer but sometimes he also does wildlife photography in the surrounding wild landscape.
Konstantin is a contributing photographer to many photo banks (Shutterstock, 500px etc.), participates in National Geographic photo contests and assignments, and is a member of National Geographic community.
